I need help with a research topic

I hate being 3k mi from philly but this is one of the few ways to get in touch with all of you.

I need to come up with a research paper topic for my "alcohol drugs and society" class. Any suggestions?

    I'm going to go with the obvious.

    A comparison of mortality rates and toxicology results compiled by law enforcement for different substances. Many of us have opinions on what these numbers will indicate, but I have never actually seen the numbers.
