Ok... here is the best advice I can give you. This came from my doctor.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE: If you are unsure or worried about your symptoms, go see a doctor or go to the emergency room! My advice, even though it came directly from my doctor...is no substitute for you seeking your own medical advice!

Starting feel sick, and for some of you... AGAIN....

Here's what you can do

Day one - CLEAR FLUIDS
Having trouble keeping food down?

Drink water, lots of it. Stay hydrated! If you are experiencing both vomiting and diarrhea you will get dehydrated very quickly. Drink GATORADE, PROPEL or any water that has electrolytes in it. This will help you refuel the electrolytes you are currently throwing out of your system. You will feel so much better once you get this into your body!

Day two - BRAT DIET

This consists of Bananas, Rice, Apple sauce and Tea/Toast

It's a modified bland diet. This will help you get the nutrients you need without irritating your tummy and system too much. Do this gradually or as your body can tolerate it. It may take a little for your body to adjust to it, but once your system can absorb the potassium and nutrients you can start to fight off the virus.

Continue the BRAT diet to the following day. Move VERY GRADUALLY back to your normal diet. DO NOT SHOCK YOUR SYSTEM...Do not fool yourself into thinking "oh I'm better, I can have spicy food right now!" Your body's plumbing will thank you for taking it easy and allowing yourself to heal.

Get plenty of rest, relaxation and rejuvenation!

MAKE SURE YOU WASH YOUR HANDS, wash down things you commonly touch... be extra diligent about this! Especially if you are at work (keyboards?) while having a bout of this virus! You can get this virus again, the immunity period is very short.

I hope you all feel better....
